My first full day with the LensBaby. It’s trickier to use than I expected; well I take that back the operation is really simple: point, squeeze, focus and shoot. But the tricky part is getting the focus where you want it and controlling the blur. In today’s effort I didn’t get the blur and smooth as I would have liked.
I also learned something else about this lens that I’ll share in my next photo (hopefully tomorrow; if I can find the right vantage point).
! Now I’ve used (and owned) a T/S lens or two in my time but this little chunk of plastic and rubber is really cool. I’m acutally on assignment this week (shooting a soon to be released automobile; I’ll share some out-takes when my NDA expires) but in my spare time I’ll be experimenting with the Lens Baby and sharing what works (and doesn’t).
